This profile is up basically as a memento of the happy results it brought into my life. I met the woman of my dreams, who I am living with and will marry. There's a lot of dross out in this world, but if you keep your eyes open and don't lose sight of what you really want, there's gold in them thar hills! Cheesy, yes. But I don't care, because I'm happily taken and laugh superciliously at naysayers. Hahahaha (supercilious)!

Unlike myriad others I've seen on here, I'm afraid I'm not going to write a small novella about myself on here. It's not out of inspired modesty, or disdainful hubris, but generally just because I think it would be painfully boring to read about how funny/hot/intelligent/successful I am. It's not that I'm a lecherous old tard with no money; I'd just rather get to know people and let them make their own judgments.
Incidentally, if you're still reading through my needlessly verbose summary, then you probably recognize it for the carefully designed culling mechanism it is. Hopefully this will lead you (You being an intelligent, interesting person) to wishing to chat with me... or write me hate mail, one of the two.

Living out a diverse existence in Torrance, CA. I'm currently studying history to be a teacher of (gasp!) history. I'm also working more-or-less full time, so if I don't respond immediately, please don't interpret it as a snobby brush-off. I'm really not that much of a jerk (I like to even entertain the idea I'm not a jerk at all, but let's be realistic). I will respond to anyone who writes me, and thereby I hope to make my life a little more fun.
I try to volunteer to help with social services whenever I can, and although I haven't been able to do it much lately, I love working in nature and the outdoors (trail maintenance, environmental work, etc).

Probably my eyes. My eyes change colors (from green to gray to blue), and I've been told they can be fairly expressive. (Insert witty remark to spice up topic)
